How does it work for us in the period of respiratory diseases?

Dear patients, s the slowly coming autumn is approaching the season of frequent respiratory diseases. In the following text, you will learn everything important about how things work in our office during this period and how to proceed correctly.

Every day, within the office hours, a time window is reserved for the treatment of acute patients - so you don't have to worry that we won't treat you that day. Booking all patients, including the acutely ill, is necessary especially from hygienic and epidemiological reasons. In this way, we want to ensure the smoothest and safest operation of the surgery and prevent the mixing of infectious and non-infectious patients in the waiting room and other common areas.

If you have signs of a respiratory infection - e.g. runny nose, cough, sore throat, temperature - please come in a respirator/mask. Depending on the nature of the problem, we will examine you and agree on the next course of action. the advantage is that right in the doctor's office we have the possibility to examine CRP (an inflammatory parameter) from a drop of blood within a few minutes, to detect the presence of streptococcus thanks to the Streptest from a throat swab, and if necessary, we also carry out antigen tests for Covid-19. able to quickly and more accurately diagnose the cause of problems and choose the appropriate treatment.
